Why Not Have Status Meetings?
Most of the time, whatever is shared in a status meening could probably better be articulated through a written form or via wherever the work is made visible. Status meetings can turn into two teams that are trying to resolve some kind of conflict between one system and another system. You may also treat your one on one, which is a relationship meeting, as a status meeting initially. Typically, these kinds of up dates tend to be less valuable than if they were to take on the form of sharing feedback.
