How I Dealed With My Dad's Death
Irene Faith Debra was shocked to discover her father had been married. She also found a box of letters and photo albums under his bed. The photos were carefully cut out and stuck in place, she says. I'm finding letters from people that he didn't have any ability to connect with - yet they're all African faces. It's still a bit shell-shocked anyway. So instead of confronting those issues in the moment, I focused on the practical stuff that I could do. And then I went back to London and I didn't tell anyone that he died.
