If you're a donor, it's very much within your best interest to make sure that all of the money is spent during your lifetime. Otherwise, there's a good chance that in the fullness of time, your organization will be taken over by ideological enemies. If we care about results, we should focus on undoing those two things and only bring them in as a last resort for the very wealthy.
