The Importance of Intimacy in Cinematography

It would seem to me like you would really dork out in being able to hire the most incredible cinematographers available, yet your director of photography on a lot of your own films under a different name. Do you do you do you sometimes want to maybe go call Hoyt-Fant-Huyt-Mann and like, what how do you I don't know? It's it's a sacrifice. I'm trading that I'm not as good as them for the I'm not bad and the level of intimacy that it gives me with the cast. Sure. I would trade even if I was bad.
