Economy as system that offers us incredible leverage in playing a role in our own evolution right? Through designing our economic environments we can orient variation around particular targets. Social and cultural world biases outcomes towards pro-social cooperation, he says. In the same way that changing the rules of a game of monopoly can change whether it makes sense for people to be primarily competitive or cooperative we can make those same kinds of economic interventions with cooperatives.
