Therapy is what we call symptom coherence. It means it makes sense. What seems so irrational from the outside or maladaptive, right? The inside emotional truth is adaptive and coherent and fully make sense, but you have to find it. We found it took several sessions. Her process of discovery was a little more elusive than many. But we found it in just a few sessions. And so now that we know now, see, that made sense of her panic attacks at work.
