The Government's Perspective on Insurance

The reason employers offer workplace wellness programs is not because they're hoping to make you healthier. The reason health insurers offer a discounted or free gym membership is so they can attract the customer for whom that's appealing. Government does several things around insurance, sometimes directly and other times by regulating it.
