There's been a lot of recent progress on 24-7 and some folks have called it Clean Energy's hottest new trend. Google announced its plans to run its entire operations by 24-7 carbon-free energy in 2020. The company now has garnered some 120 signatories from across the globe. Georgia Power was recently granted regulatory approval to pursue a 24-7 energy subscription service for corporate power customers and its service territory. Duke Energy has also proposed some carbon- free energy offerings for North Carolina and South Carolina commercial and industrial customers.
