The Importance of Father and Mother in the Incarnation
Why do we call God father and not mother? That's a lively conversation several years ago, especially in liturgical circles. We know that father is the fitting term for that unbegotten one because of the incarnation. So there's nothing within the eternal relations that makes father more fitting than mother.
