I think some of the root misunderstandings about body recomposition come down to seeing a surplus in a deficit as just a binary state zero or one machine language. And it's something that is actually still being taught at some colleges by some professors. I remember listening to a Joe Rogan podcast where they had a one of the best MMA nutritionists, and he worked with Conor McGregor.
