Richard has always been deeply curious. He enjoys a large variety of different activities, and he shows grit when faced with a challenge. Characteristics that seem to be common amongst super-ages. Scientists at the Cambridge Centre for Aging and Neuroscience have been studying nearly 700 adults for over 10 years. They found that your education has an impact on your cognitive abilities later in life. But surprisingly, they also discovered that what you do in your own time, when you're in your 40s and 50s, has an even bigger impact on late life cognitive abilities. This is independent of your education.
