The kingdom of heaven is really multifaceted, right? It's very hard to define concisely. If I were to kind of draw out some description of it, it would be this message that God has a great work to accomplish and he wants you to be part of it. And so these parables in a sense, offer an invitation to participate in such labor as Jesus' parables do.

How can riches deceive us? Dr. Daniel Becerra explores the Parable of the Wheat and Tares and examines the themes of the Kingdom of Heaven in Luke and Matthew. Dr. Becerra also examines the role of Jesus’s family and women in his discipleship.
