There's so many opportunities for specific variants to occur, they're basically all happening. So what we're seeing in infections are the ones that are more likely to spread. And so those mutations are predominating over and over again in different branches. How deadly it is is sort of tangential to the selective pressures, which are just to be just to spread more easily.
