The Trial of Maradona

Police raided a house Maradona was at with his friends, and they found drugs on the premises. In 1994, with no football club to play for, he decided to visit his country home in Moreno. He was also trying to avoid the press, but a group of journalists followed him. Maradona lost it: "You want to treat me like I'm a dog? Harrass me and my family" The former World Cup winner injured five journalists with an air rifle. His addiction didn't help as he tried to 'turn a new page' that year.
