Was Freud a Part of the Wasteland?
The wasteland appeared in two different journals on both sides of the Atlantic and was published by two different publishers. Was Freud part of this as well? I'm thinking that the idea that things aren't going to be just handed to you in neat packages is probably something simmering underneath the surface. Were people conditioned for the wasteland by starting to come to grips with Freud? Probably some of them.
