Averuisenna's Theology of God

Avocenna's philosophical theology was attacked later in the Islamic world, but not really from that direction. One critic was Averuis, who was enough of a dyed-in-the-wool Aristotelian to object to the proof on methodological grounds. In one of the most heavily criticized and frequently discussed parts of his treatment of God, Averu isenna raises the question of how God can know about particular things. There is good reason to think he could not.
