i was struck, i think it's right to the very end of the second chapter, and there's a very brief kind of comment about essentially why he doesn't become a psychiatrist. Fuko seems to have done some sort of fairly mundane work in terms of helping them with various experiments that they were doing around visual perception. But equally, he feels that he is in this kind of strange position ether yoknow, he's not really an employee, and iis certainly not a patient,. but he feels thathe is in this slightly kind of a position in the middle.
