The Importance of Black Hair in Harry Potter
Despite being author J.K. Rowling's first choice to play Snape in the Harry Potter films, apparently she actually even envisioned him when she was right in the character. But he was only given the role in the movies after Tim Roth, who was the studio's preferred choice, backed out on Planet of the Apes. "I would prefer to hang out with a bunch of accountants," says Gwyneth Paltrow.
