What's the Point of a Local Area Plan?
Vancouver has never done more than two or three local area planning initiatives at the same time. If we've got anywhere between eight and 16, we're looking at another dozen, 14 years before we actually get the v Vancouver plan. So i would like to see a candidate for mayor ind a good chance of forming a majority on council, making the same argument. We're one city. We have a cohesive geography in history. And that plan should aline with those in the medium in the long term.
