The Future of Abstract Nouns
The age at which people understand abstracting nouns has changed. At the start of the 20th century you typically had to be like 20 years old or let's just say in order to understand it whereas now a 10 year old will get a good enough grasp of it. People who don't have an inherent sense of embodiment they're less likely to reference or speak about things that are based on embodiment and more likely to talk in the abstract.
