The Politics of Expertise

I'm terrified by this conversation because what we're looking at leaning towards is a moment which says we either are technocratic or we are values led. We have a mixture of all these things. It's not binary. The vote was binary, but yeah, again, that's because it was a rubbish question to ask. And the ability as Helen said to kick in various uncomfortable places, people who essentially are telling lies,. Whether they're expert or not, whether or not they're telling flat out lies. Let's take 350 million claim and put it on the side of a bus again and talk about that versus expertise.
