How Do We Use Probability?

There's been really a shift I think in the ways in which we use probability. Ronald Fisher was very vocally committed to eugenics and race science even after World War II. He still continue to advocate for scientific theories of racial difference. Bayesian statistics is about subjective belief it's not about these long run frequencies, so you can sort of constantly be updating how you know what you believe about something.
