Shadow chancellor rachel reeves says that households will be a thousand pounds worse off a year. And if you think about low, low income household and the items that ie mentioned are driving this inflation. It's the sorts of stuff that everyone has to buy, but if you're on a lower income, then youre going to spend a higher proportion of your income on them. So disproportionately, inflation affects those people more.
