The Importance of Widening the Fairways
The more you tuck a pin and make short-sided locations, even more difficult, the less players are going to attack them. I'm all for the green expansion and having more interesting pins. But if you had more width and you could actually allow players to play from appropriate lies ... that might bait them into taking on some of those tricky pins.
