The Air Force and the Pentagon Worried About Orbital Bombardment Satellites
CNN's John Defterios says the Air Force dropped the ball on creating a space force. The Pentagon is worried about Chinese orbital bombardment satellites, he says. These are satellites that would be in orbit that could suddenly come down from orbit and target cities or even Washington DC with high-speed missiles. He believes there isn't an effective defense against these; you'd have to have an incredibly large, strong attacking missile or beam for any chance of stopping them.
