The Rosie Score for Stroke in the Emergency Department

The Rosia score was developed to identify stroke in the ED. It runs from a score of minus two to plus five and the cut off of this is if it's more than zero. The other thing that we should probably mention really quickly is the NIH SS score which is a way of recording the severity of a stroke. This is something that you're going to do once you've made the diagnosis of a stroke and something that's going to guide treatment. We'll come back to that in the next episode when we're talking about management.
