Are You Afraid of Being the Race Reporter?
i know that we have this responsibility as black people to focus on issues that affect our people. I was raised by hathen imigrants who really taught me to love the history of black people. The pride that you get from growing up hate orme i has made it so that i'm unequivocally invested in telling stories about immigrants and black people, while also making sure that i'm going to have to tell stories about ukrane and china and all the other stuff. So i think for me, i i've never really shot away from it.
