How Does Hacking Apply to Legal Systems?

The first couple of parts of the book are a very good introduction as all of your work is. So how does hacking apply to legal systems? Well let's start with more simpler systems of rules. Legal systems are an example of that. Curving your hockey stick is a hack. It's something the rules allow or at least the rules are silent about but is unintended and unanticipated. And then you talk about financial hacks. You talk about gambling hacks which I guess are related to that. But when it gets really interesting it seems to me is when you get to legal systems, hacking political systems, hacking cognitive systems and hacking AI systems.
