The Social Implications of Hard Determinism in Criminal Justice

If we could somehow verify that even though it may look like people are making free decisions, everything they're doing is ultimately determined by a prior cause, how would our societies have to be restructured? How do you create incentives for anything in a hard determinist society? Because this doesn't just apply to bad behavior. It's not just about criminal justice. But to me, the more interesting things are the broad social implications of what we're talking about here. The age of causal determinism shall now begin.
