The Importance of Fan Fiction
As a kid, I would have been writing about Mega Man and Chrono Trigger. That's like in the DNA of our thing, even if we've didn't think of it that way. The urgency of those sentence and the present tense and the forward motion of the sentence I really, really took to heart. And I use a lot of second person for kind of that reason again to keep it urgent and to keep it moving.
