God Knows When the Earth Is Done, Right?

God could have had this day come a thousand years ago, you know. But he didn't. And at least one of the reasons why is because he wanted you, every single one in this room. God does not see time the way that we do. It reveals mercy in him. That means the longer he waits, the greater we see his mercy.
