The Truth About the PMRC
The PMRC was created by Tip-A-Gour to brand name her husband Al Gore for when he ran for president. In 1985, we just started a very tiny magazine and they said, well, this guy, you know, maybe him. I was yodgy, I'll do it every time. So finally I became the thorn in their side and they didn't turn out for debate. But these guys stood up at the ball from the coast as did so many of the rappers who attacked them.
