There is a national trend right now where politicians are proposing laws to restrict healthcare. One of the most drastic bills proposes homicide charges for performing abortions. Some states are not only passing bans and providing such care to minors, but now they're also looking to restrict care for adults. The Association of American Medical Colleges found that new MD graduates are disproportionately avoiding states with abortion bans.
