The Importance of Approval

I had not thought about how, yeah, I think I've exchanged approval for love and for love for approval. Unknowingly just sought for something from my dad that I never received. There are passages that do talk about study, show yourselves approved. But there's also truth to the fact that we're supposed to sit and enjoy the love of God - even while we were sinners.
