I've Never Deployed a Single Thing, You Know?

I worked at a big company where the operations room was walled off from the rest of the floor that I was on by a big glass wall. And my whole team, nobody on the team deployed anything. All we did was check in code and then other people deployed it. We never deployed a single thing ourselves. You know, I'd never even have SSH keys anywhere. There was no Kubernetes or anything like that. If you don't have that muscle memory, you can spend a lot of time just setting that stuff up and learning about it and not actually shipping a product,. which can be deadly for a startup.
