What's Really Making a Difference in People I Work With?
We think it's good not to orient to these things as techniques. And we think ass if we're thinking about technique, we're probably not operating out of a narrative world view. What we think is most important is that sort of, call it po structuraist, if you will, world view and the narrative metaphor. There's lots of unstoried stuff there, and helping make richer, thicker, more richly described lives. It gives voice to the non dominant. Even though what we do is a very micro practice of working with individuals, couples and families, their story is impacted by all these other factors.
