The Importance of Educating Early Elementary Teachers

I would imagine it's a little frightening for early elementary teachers to hear that what you're doing in the classroom right now is actually not working for kids and you need to do something differently. It's really unfair to teachers at the end of the day that they weren't taught what they need to know about reading I mean it's really important not to blame them like it's it's really not there oh absolutely yeah. We've had a lot of like fits and starts with improving reading in this country, she says.
