The Pros and Cons of Acquiring Scopley

The Saudi government has acquired Scopley for $4.9 billion. This is below the estimated value of $5.4 billion when they acquired GSN in 2021. It gives them kind of a backing to invest in PC console game development, which I think is what their strategy likely will be going forward. The big con here is that clearly this is a very steep price, given current market conditions.
