Is the Bible the Word of God?

The bible was almost alone in its condemnation of homosexuality. A quote from ancient egypt shows a male praying to have sexual behavior with one of the gods. This is unknown to most people, who think that every society condemned homosexuality. So now to your question, for the for the christian, or a religious jew, who is attracted to the same sex and who takes the bible seriously, or even as the word of god, a real dilemma. And my heart goes out to these people.
