There was no sense of like solidarity, we're getting better together. But there were also very nice girls on the ward who I became friends with. Nicky Hughes died because she hadn't been sexually so the hospital couldn't put a tube in her to get up her nutrition. In the end her death changed the law, which is a very Nicky thing to happen.
