The Repetition of Measurement Is Critical
The repeated measure thing is critical. And there's a figure that i've seen including in things that you have done, which i really, really like. Because you have it at these separate, meaningful, clearly defined time points,. You can assess models that allow, for example, x to influence m, to influence y over time. The data aren't consistent with that mechanism. They are much more consistent with this mediating mechanism.
