The 18 Year Property Cycle
The most damaging part of the property cycle is the 18 year part. It anchors you to, oh, should this be happening right now? And how long is it until such and such happens? I think by fixating on that, we try to get the 18 year cycle to do too much. But maybe there's still enough of an insight at the core of it to help us out as investors. We're not looking at all the stuff in the press about how House prices are going to fall by whatever dramatic prediction someone said yesterday. At a fundamental level, we don't believe that’s going to happen. Therefore, we can continue just doing our thing and not sitting there paralyzed
