The Seven Valleys and the Four Valleys

Baha'u'llah many works at this time in an attempt to revive the community. Important works include the hidden words and the kitabi khan, the book of certitude. He also frequently refers to he whom God shall make manifest as to prepare his community for their coming announcements. The announcement did come on April 21st 1863 in the Garden of Riddvan right before he was about to leave for the Ottoman capital of Constantinople or Istanbul. This was another turning point in history. In this announcement he definitively rejected his brother's authority as leader of the Babis and in the process also founded an entirely new religion which became known as Baha'is.
