What's the Point of the Punching Down?

i thought he was going to end it there, and could have mike drop it. Then he kind of looped back, and then ended with the stop punching down. But i think there's an opportunity going forward to find a kind of comedy that problematizes privilege. No matter where you are, you always have some privilege riht. And so the meaning of punching up or punching down changes relative to the context in which the individuals in groups are occupying space. I don't mean to say that they're inherently worth laughing at or something, am on the on the punching up of punching down.
