As a child, I was quite aware of what was going on in South Africa. It wasn't very apparent that these things were going on but as you got older it became more obvious. You know, adults of color would look at me as like, okay, well, I come from, I'm being a white South African. So, yeah, I guess it was, I think for my parents, it must have been very different.
