The Bitter Ironies of the Lordpga
It's a cautionary tale about the limits to which revenge can be taken, or the great cost of pursuing a programme of revenge. He built his own gallows and that shouldn't be lost on any reader. It's very satisfying to see that such a malevolent character would have justice, real justice, done to him - even if everyone looks like hommon. If that is your focus then things will not work out. You cannot be elevated on the backs or the blood of others.
