Dr. Sadler: Epic teetis is a smorgasborg of sayings and there's no like systematic structure to it, right? But with Seneca, one thing that you can say,. this is probably no place that this is brought home more than in on the shortness of life in chapters 14 and 15. He presents this as if it's our inheritance. We should choose whatever is going to work for us in on anger. His primary opposition is the people that he's calling Aristotelians, which doesn't map that closely on to what Aristotle actually says, but close enough I'd say.
