The Hand of the Lord Has Goed Against Me
In Ruth, Naomi says the hand of the Lord has gone forth against me. She is picturing God as someone who has actually attacked her. The Hebrew phrase there that that I mean, this, this idea in Hebrew of like a hand being against you,. That's pretty common. But usually the way this works in Hebrew is Jill and she'll just be like holding them back.
