How to Be a Product Manager

There are a whole ton of skills that you have to have as a product manager. B.A. schools don't really teach product management, it is more about how to control things and manage risks. A better idea might be for a product owner to try to transition internally like shadowing product manager in your organization. Another approach might be learning a startup because in startups those job titles tend to be extremely mixed.
