Don Yalvina Cretz Fál fought against the privatization of communal lands and later to the sale of the once privatized communal lands. She often talked about how she didn't, she never was in favor of her husband coming to work in the US. Her relationship to the land and the community itself was much more valuable than any money that could be made through working in the U.S.
